BatFast provides the most true-to-life batting sports simulations. The company utilises cutting-edge technology, including augmented reality and precision-built hardware which calibrates to various difficulty levels.
BatFast prides itself on constructing a real sports field experience inside the most accessible locations. It’s their mission to drive increased participation and access to sport globally, through the use of technology. These values can be seen in action through their community initiatives such as the collaboration with Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club to launch a T20 tournament encouraging young girls to participate in the sport.
Laser Expertise has experience carrying out laser cutting for a number of different industries, and so was the ideal choice for BatFast who needed some of their cricket simulator components laser cut. High precision laser cutting machinery ensured the best possible cutting for their job. For this project, a 4 kW fibre laser cutting system was used.
The job included the cutting of five 1.5 mm mild steel base plates for their compact ceiling project as well as several 3 mm mild steel swivel mount plate studs. Many of the parts were supplied as welded and painted assemblies.
Laser Expertise’s steel laser cutting service has enabled BatFast to maintain the high standards of their cricketing simulators, ensuring players can enjoy a realistic and engaging experience. The project was completed quickly quickly and efficiently, ensuring the simulators were operational as soon as possible.
